How to get the look
- It’s all in the prep! Start with clean, dry hair
- Apply heat protectant, a step to never be missed. One for smoothing or frizz control will help best
- Gently brush your hair, beginning at your ends and making your way to the roots
- Optimise your straightener – follow our ideal temperature guide below to set the right temperature
- Section your hair: Divide your hair into sections using clips or hair ties. This will make it easier to straighten your hair one section at a time. Start with the bottom layer and work your way up
- Beginning near the root, grab your comb and move down the hair slightly, then
- Place either your Professional Iron or Professional Wide Iron around that strand, ensuring the tool is closest to your roots, with the comb on the other side
- With your Professional Iron, follow the comb down the length of your hair, remembering not to rush through the strand.
Where possible, try to hold your hair tight as your move the comb to help create a sleek look - Repeat steps 8 & 9 until all of your hair has been straightened
- To finish, use a shine spray or drops to help seal the cuticle ends and control humidity

- If your hair isn’t quite straight the first time, wait for that section to cool down entirely and then repeat steps 8 & 9 once more
- Notice flyaways on top of your head? Spray your favourite hairspray into the palms of your hands and gently touch over your flyaways to seal them down
